Overview

Practical hotel air conditioning installation, specified around the room.

Hotels and guest houses need comfort across rooms that may face different directions, have different layouts and be occupied by guests with different expectations.

We install AC in guest rooms, receptions, breakfast rooms, corridors, staff areas, serviced apartments, guest houses and small hotels.

The quote checks room count, phasing, guest disruption, sound, controls, condensate routes, maintenance access and whether a multi-split, VRF-style or room-by-room route is appropriate.

Specification

The details that decide whether the installation works properly.

Quiet guest rooms

Indoor and outdoor sound matters because guests may run AC overnight. Unit choice and outdoor siting need careful attention.

Phased installation

Rooms may need to be completed in stages to avoid taking too much accommodation out of use at once.

Simple controls

Guest controls should be easy to use, with staff able to understand resets, filters and common issues.

Maintenance access

Filters, drains and outdoor plant must be serviceable without major room disruption.

Typical jobs

Common installation patterns we plan for.

These are typology notes rather than claimed job records: they show the kind of practical thinking used before we recommend a system.

Guest house bedrooms

Often a multi-room plan with quiet wall units, grouped pipe routes and outdoor units positioned away from sleeping windows.

Reception and breakfast room

Specified around customer comfort, staff use and morning occupancy peaks.

Serviced apartments

Controls, landlord approval and maintenance responsibilities need to be clear from the start.

Quote guidance

What decides whether the fixed quote can proceed.

The quote route starts with postcode coverage, then checks the room, access, outdoor-unit position, electrics and installation route. Straightforward single-split systems can go through the fixed-price builder; complex rooms, commercial spaces and multi-room work may need a survey before the final scope is confirmed.

  • Number of rooms and phasing.
  • Outdoor plant location and guest-room sound.
  • Controls, guest use and staff handover.
  • Condensate routes across several rooms.
  • Maintenance access and warranty conditions.

Benefits

What customers usually want from this installation.

Reliable cooling

Bring the room back under control during warm weather, busy trading periods or high internal heat loads.

AC heating mode

Use the same fixed AC system for useful air-to-air heating when the weather turns colder. We do not install wet central-heating systems.

Neat installation

Plan the indoor unit, outdoor unit, pipe route and condensate route before installation starts.

Long-term efficiency

Choose inverter technology, good controls and routine maintenance to keep performance strong.

FAQs

Questions customers ask before they book.

Can you install AC in occupied accommodation?

Often work can be phased room by room, but noise, access and guest disruption need proper planning.

What system is best for guest bedrooms?

Quiet wall-mounted or compact indoor units are common, but the best route depends on room layout, pipe routes and outdoor-unit positions.

Can staff control guest-room AC centrally?

Some systems allow central or app-based oversight. We discuss control requirements before selecting the system.

How much does hotel air conditioning installation usually cost?

The guide price depends on room size, output, pipe route, outdoor-unit position, electrics and finish. A straightforward bedroom or standard room install usually starts from GBP 1,950, conservatories and larger open-plan rooms usually start from GBP 2,450, and two-room multi-split work usually starts from GBP 3,800.

Do you install wet heat pump systems?

No. We install fixed air conditioning systems. Many AC units can provide useful air-to-air heating mode from the indoor unit, but we do not install wet central-heating heat pumps, radiators, cylinders or underfloor heating systems.
