Overview

Practical showroom air conditioning, specified around the room.

Showrooms often have large glass, bright lighting, high ceilings and customers spending longer in the space. Temperature swings can affect staff, visitors and product presentation.

We install AC in car showrooms, furniture stores, product displays, sales suites, galleries and other customer-facing display rooms.

The quote checks glass area, solar gain, lighting heat, door openings, ceiling height, display layout, aesthetics, zoning and maintenance access.

Specification

The details that decide whether the installation works properly.

Large glazing

Showroom glass can create strong solar gain. Output and airflow need to account for the hottest display areas.

Visual impact

The system should support the showroom finish. Cassettes, ducted routes or carefully placed wall units may suit different spaces.

Customer dwell time

Comfort matters because customers stay, browse and talk. Draughts or hot zones can damage the experience.

Zoning

Reception, display, sales desks and staff offices may need different control.

Typical jobs

Common installation patterns we plan for.

These are typology notes rather than claimed job records: they show the kind of practical thinking used before we recommend a system.

Car showroom

High ceilings, glass and lighting need careful zone planning and usually commercial-grade equipment.

Furniture showroom

Airflow must work around displays without blowing directly across customer seating areas.

Sales suite

A neat, quiet system helps keep the space comfortable without distracting from the product.

Quote guidance

What decides whether the fixed quote can proceed.

The quote route starts with postcode coverage, then checks the room, access, outdoor-unit position, electrics and installation route. Straightforward single-split systems can go through the fixed-price builder; complex rooms, commercial spaces and multi-room work may need a survey before the final scope is confirmed.

  • Glazing, roof height and lighting load.
  • Display layout and visual finish.
  • Number of zones and control points.
  • Door openings and customer occupancy.
  • Access equipment and maintenance route.

Benefits

What customers usually want from this installation.

Reliable cooling

Bring the room back under control during warm weather, busy trading periods or high internal heat loads.

AC heating mode

Use the same fixed AC system for useful air-to-air heating when the weather turns colder. We do not install wet central-heating systems.

Neat installation

Plan the indoor unit, outdoor unit, pipe route and condensate route before installation starts.

Long-term efficiency

Choose inverter technology, good controls and routine maintenance to keep performance strong.

FAQs

Questions customers ask before they book.

What AC suits a showroom?

It depends on the ceiling, glass and layout. Cassettes, ducted systems, ceiling-suspended units and wall units can all be suitable.

Can AC be discreet in a showroom?

Yes, but discreet systems need design time. Concealed or cassette routes require ceiling space and service access.

Do showrooms need zoning?

Often yes. Display areas, sales desks and offices may have different heat loads and occupancy patterns.

How much does showroom air conditioning usually cost?

The guide price depends on room size, output, pipe route, outdoor-unit position, electrics and finish. A straightforward bedroom or standard room install usually starts from GBP 1,950, conservatories and larger open-plan rooms usually start from GBP 2,450, and two-room multi-split work usually starts from GBP 3,800.

Do you install wet heat pump systems?

No. We install fixed air conditioning systems. Many AC units can provide useful air-to-air heating mode from the indoor unit, but we do not install wet central-heating heat pumps, radiators, cylinders or underfloor heating systems.
