Replacement and aftercare

Air conditioning servicing for clean, reliable performance

Servicing keeps AC efficient, clean and ready for hot weather. It also helps spot drainage, airflow and performance problems before they become failures.

Overview

Practical air conditioning servicing, specified around the room.

AC systems collect dust, blocked filters, dirty coils and drain issues over time. A system can still run while quietly losing performance and efficiency.

We service domestic and commercial AC in bedrooms, conservatories, offices, shops, salons, server rooms, clinics and multi-room installations.

A service checks filters, coils, drains, fan operation, temperatures, controls, visible pipework, outdoor-unit condition and any signs that fault finding or repair is needed.

Specification

The details that decide whether the installation works properly.

Filters and airflow

Blocked filters reduce performance and can make the unit noisier or less efficient.

Coils and outdoor unit

Dust, leaves and debris affect heat exchange. Outdoor clearance and coil condition are checked.

Drainage

Condensate drains and pumps are checked because water leaks are one of the most disruptive AC faults.

Performance and controls

Temperature split, modes, remotes, timers and basic operation are checked during service.

Typical jobs

Common installation patterns we plan for.

These are typology notes rather than claimed job records: they show the kind of practical thinking used before we recommend a system.

Domestic annual service

Ideal before summer for bedrooms, conservatories and garden rooms so the system is ready when needed.

Commercial routine service

Offices, shops and salons often need planned visits because run hours and dust levels are higher.

Server room service

Critical rooms need more attention to run hours, drains, alarms and continuous operation.

Quote guidance

What decides whether the fixed quote can proceed.

The quote route starts with postcode coverage, then checks the room, access, outdoor-unit position, electrics and installation route. Straightforward single-split systems can go through the fixed-price builder; complex rooms, commercial spaces and multi-room work may need a survey before the final scope is confirmed.

  • Number of indoor and outdoor units.
  • Access to filters, drains and outdoor units.
  • Domestic versus commercial run hours.
  • Whether fault finding is needed as well as servicing.
  • Maintenance frequency and warranty requirements.

Benefits

What customers usually want from this installation.

Reliable cooling

Bring the room back under control during warm weather, busy trading periods or high internal heat loads.

AC heating mode

Use the same fixed AC system for useful air-to-air heating when the weather turns colder. We do not install wet central-heating systems.

Neat installation

Plan the indoor unit, outdoor unit, pipe route and condensate route before installation starts.

Long-term efficiency

Choose inverter technology, good controls and routine maintenance to keep performance strong.

FAQs

Questions customers ask before they book.

How often should AC be serviced?

Most domestic systems benefit from annual servicing. Commercial, salon, hospitality and server-room systems may need more frequent visits depending on use.

Does servicing fix faults?

Servicing can identify issues, but repairs and parts may be quoted separately if a fault is found.

Can I clean AC filters myself?

Many filters can be cleaned by the user, but a professional service checks more than filters, including coils, drains, controls and performance.

How much does air conditioning servicing usually cost?

The guide price depends on room size, output, pipe route, outdoor-unit position, electrics and finish. A straightforward bedroom or standard room install usually starts from GBP 1,950, conservatories and larger open-plan rooms usually start from GBP 2,450, and two-room multi-split work usually starts from GBP 3,800.

Do you install wet heat pump systems?

No. We install fixed air conditioning systems. Many AC units can provide useful air-to-air heating mode from the indoor unit, but we do not install wet central-heating heat pumps, radiators, cylinders or underfloor heating systems.
